Equifox Ulcer Guard is designed to give the working horse’s stomach some extra support when training and competition place greater demands on the digestive system.

Its combination of Calcium Carbonate, Seaweed, Magnesium Oxide and Bismuth Subcarbonate helps to neutralise excess stomach acid while soothing and protecting the stomach lining. This makes it a useful addition to the daily diet of horses that are prone to gastric discomfort, particularly active performance horses.

Stomach discomfort can sometimes show itself through unwanted behaviours such as crib biting and wind sucking. Where these behaviours are linked to gastric discomfort, providing suitable stomach support may help as part of a wider feeding and management programme.

Ulcer Guard is simple to incorporate into the horse’s normal feed, and the daily amount can be split into two or three feeds if preferred.

Ingredients

• Calcium Carbonate

• Seaweed

• Magnesium Oxide

• Bismuth Subcarbonate

Feeding Directions

Feed 30 g once daily, or divide the daily amount into smaller portions:

• 15 g twice daily, or

• 10 g three times daily

Mix into feed.

Important Information

Do not give together with tetracycline antibiotics.

Do not use in pregnant or nursing mares or horses with kidney problems.

Suitable for horses in training, competition and other situations where additional gastric support is desired.
