Description

EquiSupreme Apple Cider Vinegar is a versatile addition to your horse’s daily feed or water. It has a distinctive flavour that many horses enjoy and can be particularly useful for encouraging fussy eaters to finish their feed.

Apple Cider Vinegar naturally contains a range of minerals, including potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sodium, zinc, cobalt, nickel, iron, copper and manganese.

Apple Cider Vinegar has traditionally been used by horse owners for a variety of purposes. Some believe it can help reduce the risk of tying up, support joint health in developing horses, reduce joint calcification and arthritis, help repel flies and other insects, and improve coat dappling and general condition. These uses are based on anecdotal reports and have not been scientifically proven.

It can also be useful when added to dampened feed. Dampening feed encourages the horse to chew and salivate more, which increases the amount of saliva available to help buffer stomach acid. This makes dampened feed a useful part of good feeding management, particularly for horses where stomach health is a consideration.

Another popular use is adding a small amount to drinking water. Horses can become accustomed to the taste, which may help make unfamiliar water more acceptable when travelling, competing or showing in areas where the local water tastes different from what they are used to.

With its appealing flavour and range of traditional uses, EquiSupreme Apple Cider Vinegar is an easy addition to the everyday feeding routine.
